Bamboo viscose and linen bedding from official home storefronts

Cozy Earth vs Parachute is a fabric-and-trial decision. Cozy Earth leads with 100% viscose from bamboo sateen sheets, a stretch jersey, and loungewear, on a 100-night bedding trial at cozyearth.com. Parachute leads with garment-washed percale, matte sateen, and European flax linen, plus bath and a mattress, with free shipping on every order and a 60-day return at parachutehome.com. Choose Cozy Earth when the hand you want is silky bamboo viscose and you will sleep on it long enough to use a 100-night window. Choose Parachute when you want a crisp cotton weave or linen that softens in the wash, a fitted sheet for a mattress up to 16 inches, and a home shop that also carries towels. StoreAtlas files both as stores on the home hub and the bedding tag. This note is not a Best of ranking.

Ettitude vs Cozy Earth is the other bamboo-bedding compare. Brooklinen vs Parachute is the cotton-and-linen neighbor. This note stays on these two stores. Home storefront notes and returns before you buy cover the trial math that the product page summarizes in a banner.

Both rooms sit on the bedding you can compare job page with Brooklinen and neighbors already in the directory. Those are other files, not a ranking. The same files also live in the store directory and on the jobs index.

Who each storefront fits

Cozy Earth fits the shopper who wants one soft hand across the bed and the pajama drawer. The bedding fabric guide calls the signature cloth 100% bamboo viscose, silky, temperature-regulating, and machine washable, woven from long fibers the brand says resist pilling. The bamboo sheet set page repeats 100% premium bamboo viscose in a breathable sateen weave, hypoallergenic, and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100. A separate bamboo jersey is 93% bamboo viscose and 7% spandex, a knit the brand compares to a T-shirt, with a jersey quilt fill listed as 55% bamboo viscose and 45% recycled polyester on one bundle page. The sheets collection also includes 100% cotton soft-wash sheets, so “Cozy Earth” is not only bamboo. Loungewear, sleepwear, bath, and accessories sit on a shorter return than the bed. Last Chance items are marked final sale: no exchange, no return, no warranty.

Parachute fits the shopper who picks a weave and then builds a bed around it. The FAQ answers “what is the difference between your bedding fabrics” without a thread count. Percale is long-staple Egyptian cotton, a one-over-one weave, garment washed, cool and crisp, compared on the site to a white button-down. Sateen is the same cotton family in a satin weave, called a matte sateen, smoother and more wrinkle-resistant. Linen is European flax, garment dyed and washed, described as stronger than cotton and lighter in hot weather. Heirloom TENCEL linen blends flax with TENCEL. Brushed cotton is 100% cotton, brushed and garment washed, warmer than percale and cooler than sateen. The FAQ says Parachute does not list thread count because the brand treats high thread-count claims as a poor quality signal, and it says the fabrics are not softened with silicone or formaldehyde. The linen sheet set PDP says 100% European flax at 175 GSM, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certificate 16.HUS.93300, made in Portugal. A set is a fitted sheet, a top sheet, and a pillowcase pair. King and Cal King sets include king pillowcases. Sets are pre-bundled. À la carte sheets, outside limited editions, are how you mix colors. The same store sells towels (Oeko-Tex, and the FAQ warns that benzoyl peroxide and bleach can discolor them), robes, and an Eco Mattress. Hospitality bedding is a separate commercial program.

How the bed is built

Cozy Earth’s sateen is the smooth sheet. The jersey is the one that stretches. Care blocks say machine wash cold and skip bleach. One sham page allows softener and another says not to, so follow the SKU. The brand’s sheet FAQ says thread count is the wrong softness test for this cloth. A crisp percale or a linen slub is a different hand.

Parachute’s fitted sheets are for mattresses up to 16 inches deep. The heathered percale guide prints Full 54 × 75 × 16 inches, Queen 60 × 80 × 16, King 76 × 80 × 16, and Cal King 72 × 84 × 16. Pillowcases are 20 × 26.5 inches on Full and Queen and 20 × 36.5 on King and Cal King. Linen on the sheet PDP is 175 GSM European flax. A landing line says the goods can last up to 7 years with care, based on customer feedback. The warranty years below are shorter. Swatches are fabric swatches, not loaner sheets.

Cozy Earth calls viscose-from-bamboo temperature-regulating. Parachute calls percale the hot-sleeper weave and linen the year-round one. Those are feel descriptions, not lab numbers.

Trials, warranties, and the return fee

Cozy Earth’s returns page gives bedding a 100-night sleep trial. Loungewear, sleepwear, bath, and accessories have 30 days. Fount Society products are called out as 30 days to return and 7 days to exchange. US exchanges have no processing fee. US, Canada, UK, and Australia returns deduct 3% of the refund or $11.99, whichever is greater. Other international customers buy their own label, and international orders are returns for store credit only. Refunds are described as within 14 days after the warehouse has the goods. An older shipping-and-returns text on the site has said the bedding window is 100 days from delivery and that even a used return inside the window is accepted. The returns page is the one linked from the current trial module. Read it at checkout, because Last Chance and final-sale banners override the trial. The warranty page covers bedding and bath for 10 years against pilling, abnormal rips and tears, and workmanship defects. Apparel gets a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, not normal wear or discoloration. Claims are replacement only, not a refund. Most claims are photos, not a shipment back. Last Chance is excluded. A site banner has printed free domestic shipping at $100 or more, and a bamboo-sheets landing has printed free shipping over $50. The cart is the number that applies.

Parachute’s banner is simpler: free shipping on every order, 60-day returns. The returns page charges a flat $8 for mail-in returns and for Happy Returns bars, except mattresses, furniture, and final sale. Returns in a Parachute store are free, and returns taken as store credit are free. Mail refunds take 10–14 business days to process, then 3–5 business days to post. In-store and Happy Returns refunds start immediately. After 60 days from the delivery receipt, the brand can refuse the return. Duvet inserts, pillows, mattress pads, feather beds, rugs, and oversized quilts are too big for Happy Returns bars. Mattresses have a separate 100-night trial with free pickup if you email within the window. Final sale has no return outside a 24-hour cancellation window. Exchanges are the same product in another color, free at a Happy Returns bar or by mail. Gifts come back as a gift card. Original shipping is not refunded. Damage or a defect needs photos within 7 days. The FAQ says you can ask to cancel only within 30 minutes of ordering, and only during weekday hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm PT on the order FAQ). Weekend orders wait for a return.

Parachute’s warranty, printed on the sheet-set landing, is not one number. The Eco Mattress is 10 years. Duvet inserts are 5. Pillows, mattress pads, and toppers are 3. Bedding and bath bought on parachutehome.com or in a store are 1 year, and linen bedding is 2 years. You email the order number and photos. That is a defect warranty. The 60-day return is the “this weave is not my bed” policy. Cozy Earth’s 10-year bedding warranty is the longer defect promise, and it replaces rather than refunds. Cozy Earth’s 100 nights is the longer try-on for sheets. Parachute’s 60 days costs $8 unless you use a store or take credit, and it covers the towel and the robe as well as the sheet, with the mattress on its own 100 nights.

Parachute ships in the US, including Alaska and Hawaii, and to Canada, by UPS Ground, USPS for PO boxes, and not to APO addresses. Faster shipping is $40 or 15% of the order, whichever is greater. Cozy Earth prints its free-shipping threshold on the cart and makes international returns store credit.

Registry orders through Zola, The Knot, or Joy follow those companies’ return desks.

Questions

Cozy Earth bamboo sheets vs Parachute linen
Cozy Earth’s signature sheet set is 100% viscose from bamboo in a sateen weave, with a jersey alternative at 93% viscose and 7% spandex. Parachute’s linen sheet set is 100% European flax at 175 GSM, OEKO-TEX certified, made in Portugal, and the percale alternative is long-staple Egyptian cotton with a 16-inch fitted pocket. Bamboo viscose is the silky, drapey hand. Linen is the textured flax hand that the brand says gets softer with washing. Percale is the crisp cotton if linen’s slub is not what you wanted.
Is the Cozy Earth trial longer than Parachute’s?
Cozy Earth prints 100 nights on bedding and 30 days on loungewear and bath. Parachute prints 60 days, with an $8 fee unless you use a store or take credit, and a separate 100-night mattress pickup. Both exclude final sale. Cozy Earth’s bedding warranty is 10 years and replaces the piece. Parachute’s linen warranty on that landing is 2 years, and other bedding and bath is 1 year.
Which store ships the sheet without a minimum?
Parachute’s site banner says free shipping on every order inside its ship-to map (US, Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada, with the carrier limits above). Cozy Earth has printed both a $100 domestic threshold and a $50 threshold on different pages, so use the cart. International Cozy Earth returns are store credit, and Parachute does not ship APO addresses. Returns before you buy is the checklist for the fee, the clock, and the final-sale tag.
