About
What StoreAtlas is — and what it is not
StoreAtlas (storeatlas.cc) is an independently edited multi-platform store directory of brand storefronts, shopping platforms, and ecommerce tools. Shopify is one platform among many. It is not the Shopify app at storeatlas.net, and it is not HelloAtlas (helloatlas.io).
Who runs StoreAtlas
StoreAtlas is operated independently. Editorial notes are written in-house. We do not sell ranking placement, badges, or “best of” slots. A store page is a filing: we opened the public homepage, checked the domain, and wrote what the shop is, including who should not buy.
We may earn a commission when a Visit link is an affiliate link. That payment does not buy a kinder note. The same page can still say the product is a poor fit. Details: Affiliate disclosure.
Questions: editors@storeatlas.cc
We open a public homepage, write a short English note, and send you to the official URL. The job is orientation: what kind of shop you are about to open, and whether that matches what you came for. It is not a product search engine. It is not Shopify. It is not a ranking table.
What we publish
Stores are brand homepages we could open — Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, own sites, and other stacks. Each listing has a category, a platform badge, an English note, and a Visit button to the official URL we verified. The canonical file is /s/{slug}. Mejuri is listed as /s/mejuri. /s/mejuri
Platforms are demand channels — marketplaces and similar. A mall is not filed as if it were a single brand site. Read Shopify storefront vs Amazon when the URL might be a channel. Shopify storefront vs Amazon
Tools are utilities we use when we look at a storefront. Each tool page links to the official product. We do not operate those accounts.
What this is not
Not Shopify Inc., not a price comparison engine, and not a review site with star ratings.
We do not invent AggregateRating markup, a Best of list, or a Top 10. We do not scrape SKUs, prices, or inventory into a shadow catalog. We do not swap a dead or lookalike domain for one that looks right.
Some Visit buttons go straight to the merchant. Some are affiliate links. Affiliate Visit links are labeled on the page, next to the button, and again on the Affiliate disclosure page. They are not an independent ranking, and pages are not sorted by commission.
How we decide a store belongs
A row is a filing decision, not a trophy. We add a brand when we can open a public homepage, confirm the official URL, and write a few sentences a reader can check against that page. If any of those three fail, we skip the row.
The homepage must load without a password wall. The domain in our file has to be the one we opened — not a guess, not a marketplace seller URL, not a phishing lookalike. There has to be enough on-page content for a short English note: what they sell, how the page is organized, who it is for, and one honest limit (shipping region, restock cadence, membership gate, narrow assortment).
If AfterShip, Shopify, or a press page is how we found the brand, that source only donates name and official URL. Logistics metrics and case-study ROI do not enter the consumer note.
Categories and tags exist so you can browse. They are not a ranking signal. One primary category per store. When we cannot re-open the official URL, we remove the row rather than point at a substitute domain.
There is no score to campaign for. A beautiful lookbook with no shipping table is still listable. A locked preview store is not. Send the official domain, not a marketplace seller link.
How we verify official domains, date-stamp facts, and handle corrections is on Our method. Our method.
How this blog is different from a listing
A store page answers “what is this brand, in one file?” A blog note answers “how do you read this kind of page?” When a note names a brand, it is as a case. We do not republish the directory blurb under a new H1 to steal the brand query. Brand merchandising essays now live on the store file.
If you want a checklist you can reuse on any homepage, read how to evaluate a Shopify store. For official vs lookalike, ship-to, landed cost, and tracking after checkout, start at Before you buy.
