Food and drink Shopify storefront notes

Food and drink Shopify storefront notes split on density. A specialty coffee or sauce brand can live on a story homepage: three SKUs, one origin essay. A pantry or grocery club cannot. Filters and the member/guest split are the storefront.
Food & Drink holds both. We do not invent taste scores or scrape an aisle.
Story shelf vs supermarket app
A story shelf is a film plus a few jars. A supermarket-app page is a filter surface: you narrow, then you add. When you compare listings, ask whether the homepage is a shelf or a story. Neither is better. They fail in different ways — a story with fifty SKUs, or a warehouse photo with no filters.
Clubs change the tile
Membership grocery states (or hides) a two-layer price. If the split is early, you can decide whether the club is the product. If it only appears at checkout, you were shopping a fake catalog. See membership vs guest checkout.
Shipping is perishable logic
Pantry dry goods and cold chain are different objects. Region and threshold matter more than the hero produce wall. Confirm on the official site. We will not invent a rate.
How to use this shelf
Listing for the short file. Official site for terms and stock. This page for the questions: story or aisle? guest price visible? ship-to real? Pair with how to evaluate a Shopify store.
Origin essays are not an aisle
A farm story can be true and still fail as a catalog. If you came to restock five staples, you need filters or a short grid you can finish. If you came for one jar, the essay can lead. Know which job you brought. A club door on a story homepage is a mismatch; a story on a filterless fifty-SKU pantry is the other mismatch.
