VIP and training-drop leggings from official fitness storefronts

Fabletics vs Gymshark is a checkout decision before it is a leggings decision. Fabletics sells activewear, denim, and scrubs through a VIP credit on fabletics.com: skip between the 1st and the 5th or be charged $69.95 on the 6th for a member credit the PDP describes as any item or outfit up to $100. Gymshark sells training drops on gymshark.com at guest checkout, with collection names (Vital, Adapt, Onyx, seamless) and an inseam printed on the product page. Choose Fabletics when you will actually skip or spend a credit most months and you want studio compression plus a wider closet. Choose Gymshark when you want a lifting or running tight from the current drop and you do not want a calendar charge. StoreAtlas files both as stores on the fitness hub and the activewear tag. This note is not a Best of ranking.

Gymshark vs Alphalete is the training-brand compare next door. This note stays on membership versus drops. Read fitness storefront notes, membership store vs guest checkout, and size charts before you buy. A credit and a seamless inseam both fail if you guess the size.

There is no shopping-job page for this pair yet — other shopping tasks already filed live on the jobs index. Both brands also live as files in the store directory.

Who each storefront fits

Fabletics fits a shopper who wants a priced membership with an off switch, and who will use it. The how membership works page says the charge is $69.95 on the 6th, skip any number of months between the 1st and the 5th, and cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect after 30 days, and unused member credits expire after 12 months. The homepage repeats the skip-by-the-5th line and the $69.95 charge, and it says members save up to 20–50% on full-price styles. A leggings PDP adds the practical limit: you have 12 months to redeem each credit for any item or outfit up to $100. A VIP credit is described as buying one item, a two-piece outfit, or a bundle. Non-member prices stay on the PDP, so you can buy without joining. The membership is the discount path, not the only door.

Navigation includes women, men, denim, and scrubs. The Define PowerHold 7/8 page calls PowerHold the signature compression fabric, 88% polyester and 12% elastane, with a power-mesh waistband. The Oasis PureLuxe crossover 7/8 calls PureLuxe the softest fabric, 82% polyester and 18% spandex, brushed, with pockets and a true-to-size note on that page, for yoga, barre, pilates, and everyday. Read the fabric block on the SKU. PowerHold and PureLuxe are different jobs.

Gymshark fits the shopper who buys a named training collection and leaves. There is no monthly credit. Loyalty points are a rewards balance, not a bill you must skip. The leggings fit guide sorts collections by hand-feel. Thick and supportive: Vital, Adapt, Lift, Corset, Flex. Thin and breathable: Elevate, Running, Whitney, Training, Soft Sculpt. Onyx is described as a muscle-fit, with a size-up if you are between sizes. Vital’s PDP calls the legging high-waisted seamless, 96% nylon and 4% elastane, with a 28-inch inseam on size M. One Adapt Fleck page prints 80% nylon, 14% polyester, and 6% elastane. Everyday Seamless prints 91% nylon and 9% elastane and warns the fabric can go sheer when stretched. Percentages move by colorway. Open the PDP you are paying for.

Inseams, size charts, and the word “regular”

Fabletics prints “Fit: True to Size” on the PureLuxe crossover page. That is one style. PowerHold is built to compress, so a true-to-size label on a brushed studio tight does not transfer to a mesh-waist compression legging. Measure waist, hip, and inseam and use the chart on that product. The 7/8 length is part of the product name on both the Define and Oasis pages. It is not a petite program. If you need the ankle covered, read the inseam or the model note before you spend a credit, because a credit is harder to unwind than a card charge (see returns below).

Gymshark’s leg-length guide defines three inseams: Short at 72.5 cm / 28 in, Regular at 77.5 cm / 30 in, and Tall at 82.5 cm / 32 in. It says leg length does not change your waist size. It also says a rolling waistband is a rise or size problem: size up if the band rolls, size down if it gaps, or move to a more compressive waist such as Adapt or Vital. The same guide points Whitney or Everyday at people who find compression too tight. The fit guide tells you to measure the narrowest part of the waist, the hip, and the inseam, and to follow the hip if your waist is smaller than your glutes, especially in seamless styles where a small size can go sheer. “Size up if you are between sizes” is the short version that guide gives.

“Regular” is not one number. The leg-length article’s Regular is 30 inches. A Vital Regular PDP has printed a 28-inch inseam on size M, which matches the Short figure in that article. Read the inch line on the size and fit block. Model heights on those pages (often 5'8" or 5'10" in a small or extra small) are not your measurement.

The credit calendar versus a drop

From the 1st through the 5th you can skip and pay nothing that month. If you do not skip, the US membership page charges $69.95 on the 6th and issues a credit. That page and the US PDP print a 12-month credit life. Use the page for the country account you opened, because other locales have printed a different expiry. Credits are not cash. Cancel online or at the phone number on that page. The membership page prints (844) 449-4889. The homepage prints (844) 322-5384. Cancellation takes effect after 30 days, and unexpired credits can still be used. Store credit spent on an order comes back as store credit, and loyalty-redeemed items are not returnable on the US help article.

Gymshark’s calendar is the drop. There is no skip window because nothing is charged until checkout. Gift cards do not count toward free shipping, and the delivery page shows the threshold and transit time for your country at checkout. A support page lists excluded countries. If the country is missing at checkout, it is missing.

Returns, final sale, and what “30 days” counts from

Fabletics’ US and Canada policy, printed on the PowerHold PDP as a 30 Day Perfect Fit Guarantee and on the US help center, accepts returns and exchanges within 30 days of the ship date, unworn, with tags, in the original packaging. Accessories need every piece. Loyalty points on a refunded order are removed. The US article says Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico returns carry a $9 shipping and handling charge. Exchanges on the UK help article are a different size inside 30 days if the item is still resaleable. Read the help article for your storefront. A worn pair is outside the policy on every version checked.

Gymshark’s returns policy gives 30 days from delivery for online orders, unworn, unused, and unwashed, with tags. Underwear, swim, unsealed socks, bottles, and personalized items are out. In the US and Canada, a final discount of 60% or more is final sale when the page says so. Free returns are listed for the US, the UK mainland, Canada, and a set of European countries plus Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. Other countries may pay the freight. A US Happy Returns drop-off is described as refunded at handoff. The terms page can also leave change-of-mind freight with you. The label the portal actually issues is the one that counts.

Both windows are about a month, and both require an unworn garment. The Fabletics clock starts at shipment. The Gymshark online clock starts at delivery. A credit return is a second problem the Gymshark guest order does not have. Measure, then decide whether the piece is a credit redemption or a card purchase, before the tag comes off. Size charts are the step that keeps the 30 days from being the whole shopping trip.

Questions

Is Fabletics VIP a monthly order?
You do not have to place an order every month. Between the 1st and the 5th you can skip and avoid the $69.95 charge. If you do not skip, the US pages say you are billed on the 6th and you get a member credit for an item or outfit up to $100, usable for 12 months. Cancel online. The membership page says cancellation takes effect 30 days later. Non-member prices stay available if you never join.
Gymshark Vital vs Fabletics PowerHold
Vital, on the PDP checked, is a high-waisted seamless nylon-elastane legging (96% nylon, 4% elastane) with a 28-inch inseam printed for size M, aimed at the gym. PowerHold is 88% polyester and 12% elastane, described as maximum compression with a power-mesh waist. They can both say “high-waisted” and still fit differently. Use the hip measurement for Gymshark seamless, and read Fabletics’ fit line on that exact style. The Alphalete compare stays inside training brands if PowerHold’s membership is the part you do not want.
Which return is simpler?
Gymshark guest orders in the US and the UK mainland are on the free-returns list if the item is unworn and not in the hygiene or deep-discount exclusions, counted 30 days from delivery. Fabletics US and Canada orders are 30 days from shipment, unworn with tags, and a credit or store-credit payment can come back as credit rather than cash. Final-sale and loyalty-redeemed pieces are the lines to read before you assume either window applies. Membership versus guest checkout is the longer version of that billing difference.
