StoreAtlas is an edited directory. We publish short notes on Shopify storefronts, shopping platforms, and ecommerce tools, then send you to the official site. The job is orientation: what kind of storefront you are about to open, and whether that matches what you came for.
This site lives at storeatlas.cc. It is not storeatlas.net. It is not HelloAtlas at helloatlas.io. It is not a product search engine. It is not Shopify. It is not a ranking table.
What we publish
Four shelves sit on the same site so you do not have to guess the object type.
Stores are brand homepages we have opened. Each listing gets a category, a few English sentences, and a button to the official URL we verified. The note is a pointer, not a review score.
Platforms are demand channels — marketplaces and similar. The overview says who the channel suits and what to watch, so a mall is not filed as if it were a single brand site.
Tools are utilities we use when we look at a storefront: stack clues, tracking pages, cross-border checkout. Each tool page links to the official product.
Notes are method essays. They answer how to read a kind of page. They do not republish a store blurb under a new H1.
What we refuse to invent
We do not invent star scores, AggregateRating markup, or a Best of list. We do not scrape SKUs, prices, or inventory into a shadow catalog. We do not swap a dead or lookalike domain for one that looks right. If the public homepage will not load, is password-gated, or is clearly not the brand, the row does not ship.
Affiliate theater is out of scope for these notes. If a later outbound link is commercial, that will be labeled on the page — not dressed up as an independent ranking.
How to use the site
Start on the store directory. Pick a category or a tag, read the two-sentence note, and only then open the official site. If you want the rules behind a listing, read About. If you are choosing between a marketplace and a brand homepage, read Shopify storefront vs Amazon. The four shelves are spelled out in stores vs tools vs platforms vs notes.
This blog is for method and comparison — how a storefront is built to be shopped — not a rewrite of the directory card. When a note names a brand, it is as a case, and the listing stays at /s/{slug} for the short file.
